Their Story:

At Daniel's Maple Syrup, making pure West Virginia maple syrup isn't just a seasonal tradition-it's a way of life rooted in generations of hard work passed down and love for the land. What started as a small family operation in 1989 has grown into a beloved source of natural maple syrup for folks near and far, all thanks to the Daniels family's commitment to quality, community, and stewardship.

Tapping trees in the beautiful Greenbrier Valley of West Virginia, the Daniels family honors a legacy that stretches back more than a century. One of the pictured maple trees they tap today-over 4 feet wide-is estimated to be 250 to 300 years old. It was tapped by their great-great-grandparents in the early 1900s, as seen in a rare photo from that era.

Every spring, when the sap starts to run, the same sugarhouse used by their great-great-grandparents comes alive. On warm days, steam pours from the vents as sap boils down into rich, golden syrup. You can almost smell it in the photo taken during one of those sweet, steamy boils. This isn't just maple syrup. It's heritage in a bottle.
